Partners in life, we walk beside

One another, my soulful companions

Imaginations on fire, spirits on a mission

Passion, the spark, keeps my fire alight

Perpetually, in motion, taking flight

Our words and worlds, woven together

Awake, asleep, day or night, knowing

My hopes, my purpose, my truth

Remain constant, on the ever changing

Sea of life, always as real as it seems

A needle pulling thread, I am my dreams

I have found, the inspired dreamer

My heart overtaken, once again

The child, has recently returned

Taking center stage, refueling

Hopes and dreams, stoking

Passions, that run, watercolors

In the rain, paint the shades

Of my love into every breath

Of love, the closer I get

Like a key, opens a door

Excitement is a clue, sending

On this day, 3 years ago

The time had come, to let you go

Left without options, we said goodbye

Paid our last respects, tears in our eyes

A loving wife, left behind in pain

Has found the strength to go on again

We are all so proud of her in endless ways

Armed with faith and courage, she fills her days

I feel your spirit surrounding me

Empowering me, to be all that I can be

I’ve learned there is gain within the pain of loss

Life is a journey that transforms, with each bridge we cross

Words break through, the fires inside, surfacing

The way art takes form, brushes swathed in passion

Music caresses the ears, waterfalls rushing over

Washing us clean, warm water, bathes our souls

Movement transforms, conveying ideas into action

A manifestation of emotions, represented without words

Silence speaks volumes, making the invisible, visible

Spirits awakening, expressions of a passionate heart

Forces of nature, always in motion

Often unnoticed, seemingly silent

Occasionally witnessed by the keenest

Eyes, a shifting and shaping caused

By constant pressure, the way

Heat radiates from the sun, slowly

Quietly and continuously, melting

Blankets of ice into rivers, that rush

Full of water, wildly, eroding the rocks

And earth, on an expedition to the sea

So too, are the deeds of the mightiest

Of people, the quietly powerful, the ones

Who act in silence, being the wind that

Carves the stone, lifting the lives of

Others, upon their backs,  the teachers

The caregivers, the anonymous, who

seeking neither praise nor recognition,

Are the spine of humanity, spirits on

Their greatest mission, who touch us

Creating the changes, we often overlook

Softly, gently

Soaring

Unobscured

By clouds

Your truth

And honesty

Warm me up

Inside

The way sunshine

Sets me free

On a beautiful day

Moment to moment, time flows by like a river

Is it an illusion, or an aspect of time we have

Come to know, ingrained in our perception

Without any question, we take it for granted

Because I am forever in the present moment

I remain always in the here and now, ageless

And eternal, unaffected by time, my existence

Undefined by the past and the future, I trust

What is happening now, is all there is, and

I believe that it is everlasting, ever timeless

Without beginning or end, moment after moment

Unfolding, I let go, I am living in timelessness
