We are the same, my dreams and I

Partners in life, we walk beside

One another, my soulful companions

Imaginations on fire, spirits on a mission

Passion, the spark, keeps my fire alight

Perpetually, in motion, taking flight

Our words and worlds, woven together

Awake, asleep, day or night, knowing

My hopes, my purpose, my truth

Remain constant, on the ever changing

Sea of life, always as real as it seems

A needle pulling thread, I am my dreams

Limitless, living right beside

Nights and days, spent

Dreaming about our purpose

And our passion, always

Available, to you and I

The realization, requires

Perception and belief

It is in the leaning forward

Learning the only failure

Exists in what we regret

Without our dreams, there

Is no reason to move ahead

Success is an achievement of

Persistence, following through

Forging on, for your big dreams

Ever since he was a child

His untamed heart has always been wild

For he was a dreamer

A childhood believer

Riding down the river of his dreams

Finding his purpose amongst the trees

And dancing in the breeze

He would go into the forest

To wander along the paths that he knew best

For he always knew

Exactly what he wanted to do

His heart was filled with such high hopes

Blazing trails and swinging from ropes

He was clinging onto challenging slopes

A boy who understood darkness

And the ways of the wavy lines of progress

For he lived to discover

Always loved to uncover

Wading in the middle of the valley streams

He realized the world is as magnificent as it seems

All alone in the forest of hopes and dreams

Reflections of you, reflections of me

Dancing the way stanzas, play out in poetry

Two lives twined together in relative harmony

Creates beautiful images, like a candle burning bright

From the darkest shade of black to a blank canvas of white

Remembering things from the past, remembering when

Flow throughout our lives, like rivers and streams

You have a great idea….act upon it

You want to follow your dreams…put them into action

You need people in your life….welcome them in

You are filled with intense passion…ignite your flame

You have a purpose…live with intention

You were born to lead….start blazing trails

You are a precious gift…open up your treasure chest

You have a beautiful heart…so love unconditionally

You are the only you…share yourself generously

You will be great…if you practice, practice, practice

You need to be heard…raise your voice

You make a difference…push out to the maximum

You want to be successful…do what you love

You are part of the solution…so do your part

You bring joy to others….just by smiling

I’m as unstoppable as the wind

Like the forces that burn beneath my skin

The relentless pounding of my drums is unbeatable

Like an army of horses that has been undefeatable

My drive is bulletproof, making me feel invincible

Like a magic spirit who soars on principle

I cannot be contained by my flesh and blood

Like the surging river waters in a raging flood
